Our Story
Her Two Cents is a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower women of color with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build lasting wealth. We believe that financial literacy isn't just about numbers, it's about freedom, generational impact, and reclaiming power in a system that wasn’t built for us.

Founded with the vision of closing the racial and gender wealth gaps, Her Two Cents creates culturally relevant financial education through workshops, coaching, community events, and digital resources. Whether you're navigating student loans, launching a side hustle, budgeting for your family, or dreaming of financial independence, we’re here to support your journey!

We provide safe, affirming spaces where money conversations are normalized, questions are welcomed, and success looks like self-defined abundance. Our approach is rooted in community care, economic justice, and the belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to thrive financially — not just survive.

This is your space. Your future. Your two cents ... and they matter.

Mission
Our mission is to empower young women of color to build lasting wealth through culturally relevant financial education, mentorship, and community support. By addressing systemic and personal barriers, we create safe, affirming spaces where financial literacy is lived, shared, and passed on. Through workshops, coaching, and strategic partnerships, we nurture a generation of confident, financially savvy leaders.
Vision
At Her Two Cents, we envision a future where young women of color are not only financially literate but are positioned as leaders in wealth-building within their families and communities. In this future, systemic barriers to economic mobility are dismantled through education, representation, and access. We see a world where financial empowerment is a right, not a privilege, and where young women of color are fully equipped to make informed financial decisions, advocate for themselves, and create lasting legacies of financial stability and freedom.
